"Family Line" is most likely to be the title of the eagerly awaited duets album by Anne and her father Slim Dusty due for release possibly in January 2002. The album is expected to feature at least 3 duets by the father/daughter duo with the possibility of one or two solo tracks by Anne and the remainder performed as solo pieces by Slim. A lack of acceptable material suitable for both voices is said to be the reason for the small number of duets recorded for the project. However, Anne is overjoyed to announce the recording debut of her neice Hannah Kirkpatrick who appears as backing vocalist alongside Anne's daughter Kate. "Kate's voice is a lot like mine" said Anne after the recent Slim Dusty Family performances at Cooloongatta "It's really amazing just how much she sounds like me". Hannah also made her on stage debut at the Cooloongatta shows singing backing vocals for her father David Kirkpatrick whilst proud grandparents Joy & Slim watched from the wings. It was "history repeating itself" in Joy's words as she recalled having watched her own children's stage debut at roughly the same age as Hannah is now. EDITOR'S NOTE: "Family Line" was re-titled "Travellin' Still ...Always Will" before it's release

Reviews of the new Australian film "Cunnamulla" make mention of Slim Dusty paying the town a visit. It's not known at this stage if Slim makes an appearance in the film or if there is concert footage shown which might possibly feature him as well as Anne.
If you know send me an email (trueblue17@hotmail.com) so I can let everyone else know. Those heading down to the local video hire store should also keep an eye out for the film "No Worries" in which Anne makes a singing appearance.
